In my 20 years of researching family history, I became keenly aware that the existing genealogy software on the market did not fully address the unique challenges faced by researchers like myself. Through community discussions and blogs, it became clear that I wasn’t alone in facing these hurdles.
As a seasoned software developer with over 25 years of experience, I saw an opportunity to bridge this gap. I envisioned a solution that would offer the genealogy community a more effective way to organize and analyze evidence, seamlessly complementing existing genealogy software.
In 2012, Evidentia was born.

Meet the Founder
I am passionate about tracing my ancestors’ footsteps and uncovering the stories of the past. When I’m not immersed in genealogical research, I cherish spending time with my family – my two grown boys, my wife of over 32 years, and my grandson. My love for movies, reading, and travel also keeps me grounded. Living in North Carolina, I seize every opportunity to explore new places and visit family.
